Introduction:

Promoting Holistic Student Health: Harnessing Ayushman Bharat Health Mission, Health Care Partnerships and FHIR Technology in a Comprehensive School Health Care Program.

We have always acknowledged that children's health is a fundamental determinant of their academic success and overall life trajectory. In the evolving world we inhabit, maintaining physical, emotional and social health is increasingly challenging. Recognising this reality and our pivotal role in nurturing holistic health, our school is excited to launch a comprehensive annual School Health Care Program for all students aged 5 to 18 years.

Our School Health Care Program seeks to promote the complete health and well-being of our students by addressing three critical dimensions:

A. Physical Health: Through regular health screenings, promotion of physical activity, and nutrition education, we aim to optimise the physical health of our

B. Mental Health: By providing on-site counselling services and incorporating stress management strategies in our curriculum, we hope to bolster our students' mental

C. Social Health: Through interactive workshops and group activities, we plan to enhance our students' social skills, fostering a supportive community where each student feels valued.

School Health Promotion Activities

The health promotion activities will be given a special focus. Age appropriate health education for the students will be taken up to influence behavior and enhance skills. The framework developed pays special attention to physical, psycho-social and mental aspects based on the developmental stages of the child. The broad components are:

Health Conditions Identified for Screening

Child Health Screening and Early Intervention Services under NHM envisage to cover 30 identified health conditions for early detection and free treatment and management. Based on the high prevalence of diseases like hypothyroidism, sickle cell anaemia and beta thalassemia in certain geographical pockets of some States/UTs, and availability of testing and specialized support facilities, these States and UTs may incorporate them as part of this initiative
