Vikas The Concept School recently hosted a highly insightful and interactive workshopfor its dedicated faculty on June 6, 2025. Led by the esteemed guest speaker Prof.Sreevidya Subramanyam,the event was incredibly educational, productive andengaging, filled with interactive activities.
The workshop focused on two pivotal areas:
1. Raising Readers: Building Stamina and Fluency This session provided practical strategies to cultivate a love for reading , enhancing stamina and fluency, essential components for comprehension and academic success.
2. NEP 2020: Shift from Content Teaching to Concept Development; In line with the National Education Policy 2020, this segment explored the paradigm shift from rote memorization to a more meaningful approach focused on concept development.
Prof.Sreevidya Subramanyam, illuminated how educators can foster critical thinking and deeper conceptual understanding, emphasizing experiential learning and real-world applications.
The teachers found the workshop immensely beneficial. The practical takeaways and collaborative environment ensured every participant left with renewed enthusiasm and actionable strategies to enrich their teaching.
As a token of our profound gratitude for her invaluable contribution, Prof.Sreevidya Subramanyam, was honored with a memento by our Headmistress, Smt. Binu S Abraham, at the conclusion of the workshop.
